Since the mid-2000s, Keith and Ben built a strong foundation in rental properties but eventually realized they preferred working with owners who cared about their properties rather than tenants with considerably less buy-in. This shift in focus led to a new venture: in 2022, they purchased their first LakeShare property on Minnesota’s scenic North Shore, launching their mission to make single-family fractional ownership of waterfront and cabin properties more accessible and enjoyable.

My day-to-day is spent representing my clients in their disputes, like audits and collection cases, with the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities. While I relish the opportunity to defend my clients, the day-to-day stress is real. There is nothing better than sneaking away with my family to a lake property to decompress and that experience is only made better because, with LakeShares, I do not have to worry about all the headaches that come with lakeshore ownership.
I try to remain active in a variety of professional associations and have been a Program Specialist for Youth in Government for 25 years. I serve as a Board Member for Central Minnesota Legal Services. In what remaining time I have left, I try to schedule as many rounds of golf as I can.

Business broker by day, real estate investor by night, and lifelong lakeshore lover! After 16 years in corporate America, I now dedicate my career to helping others achieve the American dream of buying and selling businesses. The idea for LakeShares was born when we purchased a property intending to turn it into a short-term rental. Thankfully, we pivoted and developed an incredible concept that allows others to experience the joys of lakeshore ownership in an entirely new way!
In my free time, you will find me with my wife and children on the water, whether it’s frozen or open. We love everything about it along with all the beauty and wonder nature provides. An active life is the best life, and I enjoy volunteering in my community with my church, the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, coaching youth sports teams, and various charities.
